UMSkinCheck is an application for self-examination to detect skin cancer. This free of cost application was developed by the University of Michigan.
UMSkinCheck allows ios users to carry out review and monitor body skin, while providing the opportunity to complete and store a full body photo library, track moles or lesions, access to videos and literature information and also has and fill out a melanoma risk calculator.
The application guides us through a series of 23 photographs covering the entire body from head to toe. The photos are stored on the device and are the basis for future comparisons with other photos.
The application notifies us when we carry out the test, taking new photographs, for comparison with the earlier ones.
