The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam or the WBJEE is a doorway to admissions in to various degree level courses in Medical, Dental, Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities, Government Colleges as well as Self Financing Technological Institutes in West Bengal. It is the most popular entrance exam for students fresh out of school in West Bengal. The WBJEE score is accepted by most of the colleges in the state.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board or WBJEEB was created in the year 1962. It was primarily formed for holding Common Entrance Examinations for admission to the Undergraduate Level Engineering Courses in the State of West Bengal.
The WBJEE examination is held for three types of examinees which is given below. Aspiring students are required to select the type during online application of the exam.

Application Process for WBJEE
The registration and application process for WBJEE is purely online. The application form is to be filled up ONLINE on the official website of the WBJEE.
The student who is willing to apply for the exam is required to visit the website and CLICK on the link and thereafter will be directed to the application form. Candidate can fill this easy to understand form in a matter of minutes and apply for the exam. Candidates must see Appendix – III & XII for detailed guidelines for filling the form. The candidate is required to provide their personal details in the form to obtain an Application Number and a Password. The candidate will then be required to upload important documents and a photograph to register for the WBJEE. Next, the candidate will have to make the payment by Allahabad Bank Challan and register.

The WBJEE score is accepted by most of the institutes of West Bengal. Be it a Government, Private or Self Financing Institutes, all colleges accept the WBJEE score for admissions to their undergraduate courses.
