While Sony was just pondering over, like how is it possible to update the line of Xperia Smartphones in 2011 to the newest version of Android Jelly Bean. Team members of XDA developers have released a pilot version of the Alfa-Jelly Bean unofficial ROM for Xperia 2011 works with CyanogenMod 10.

Thanks to XDA developers for providing quick update of Jelly Bean unofficial ROM for Xperia 2011 Smartphone series, which are unfortunately still working on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but because of them it is now possible to upgrade to the latest version of the operating system.
However, it is necessary to warn that while the development, as well as all the alpha version is not stable and requires further improvements. At the end of this year Sony plans to release Ice Cream Sandwich OS to their older Smartphone, but the names of these Smartphones are not yet disclosed.
