iPhone 5C leaked specifications point to dual-core CPU, Siri support

After rounds of speculations about the colourful phone pictures of the low budget iPhone from Apple, the internet is again abuzz with the news about the leaked specifications of the iPhone. Relative to the familiarity to the picture of the phone, not much was known about the hardware specifications of the iPhone 5C.  A new report claiming to shed some light on the specifications of the low cost Apple iPhone 5C has surface recently. If sources are to be believed, Apple may launch the iPhone 5C along with the iPhone 5S at an exclusive event in San Francisco on 10th September.

Apple is yet to officially confirm about the launching of its low budget iPhone 5C. The leaked pictures of the iPhone 5C show it in different coloured plastic polycarbonate device back panels. White, Green, Blue, Yellow and Red coloured body panel are revealed. The pictures also disclose about the round camera lens at the rear, LED flash, iPhone brand, apple logo and a lighting connector port.

Leaked Specifications of the iPhone 5C:

According to the leaked news, some of the hardware specifications of the iPhone 5C are mentioned below:

Processor: The iPhone 5C is probably powered by a dual core CPU; the chipset is still unknown.

Display: it will sport a 4 inch display with 640 x 1136 pixel resolutions.

Dimensions: The rumored dimension of the phone is about 124.2 x 58.4 x 7.6 mm and weighs around 106 grams. The iPhone 5C is about 6 grams less than the weight of iPhone 5. If the dimensions are real, then the new iPhone will be of the same size of iPhone 5.

Memory: The iPhone may be loaded with 1 GB of RAM and will be available in different memory variants of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.

Camera: the iPhone 5C may be loaded with an 8 megapixel rear camera. It will also hold a 1.2 megapixel front facing camera.

The phone will run on an iOS 7 and is complete with Siri. The Siri support will be available for English, Spanish, German, Italian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese and French.

The formal acknowledgement of Apple is still awaited. As of now, we have to wait until the iPhone 5C is officially launched.
